During my senior year of high school, I participated in three independent studies in advanced graphic design. My teacher and I brainstormed ideas for a project I could work on for the semester and came up with the idea of a service project that would give back to the NICU. We worked with the Women and Babies Hospital in Lancaster and made 300 onesies for the babies when they go home. I led the project and trained my peers on the vinyl cutter and heat press. I delivered the onesies to the hospital myself and saw the effect my work had on the families there, which changed my life.

While employed as a student worker for the Design, Media, and Technology Department at LVC, I suggested doing a similar project with other Digital Communications students. The department loved the idea and connected us to UPMC Pinnacle NICU in Harrisburg. As the president of the DigiVal club, I led the project, communicated with the hospital, and trained other students. We successfully created 250 onesies by the end of the fall semester in December 2021.
Below is my design from 2018 for the Women and Babies Hospital in Lancaster, PA.
