In my current role at Masonic Villages, one of my more unique projects was to design a bourbon label for the new Grand Master of Pennsylvania. This bourbon was sold at Hidden Still Spirits in Hershey, PA, and a portion of the profits from each bottle go to support Grand Lodge operations. We were preparing to rebrand the Grand Lodge, so this project was one of the first to use the new brand colors and guidelines. I was able to be fully creative with the design, but it had to represent the new Grand Master and his slogan, "Ignite the Light Within." I chose to highlight this slogan by creating a lantern with a fire within that lights up the design with silver-foiled rays of light. In the sun, these foiled streaks glow.
These images show the final product, and the process from start to finish with revisions from the manufacturer. It was amazing to purchase the product in person and see my creativity come to life!
