My main task as a graphic design intern for Tellus360, an Irish pub and music venue in Lancaster, was to create social media posts to promote events and music acts. I designed these posts on Adobe Illustrator and made around 7-10 posts a week depending on the number of acts and sports games being shown.
I would begin the process by checking the week's music events schedule and researching each of the acts. I used high-quality images of their band/performances and tried to make each post demonstrate their sound using correlating color-schemes and fonts. These images were mainly used on Instagram, so I scaled them at 1080px by 1080px.
